Hey there! I am going to show you how you can make your very own pair of reusable hand warmers for super cheap!
All you need is:
Fabric – I used felt scraps from a previous project
Okay, let’s get started! First, take your fabric and cut it into the shape you want. I used hearts.
Then, get your Sewing Machine and sew them together, but make sure to leave about an inches gap for filling the hand warmer. You could do it really advanced and sew it inside out and then flip it so you can’t see the stitches, but I made this 20 minutes before I had to leave and face the cold outdoors, so I wasn’t really worried about the stitches. 🙂
Next, fill the fabric with rice!
FYI: This was WAY too much rice, I ended up putting some back. Word to the wise- don’t listen to the picture!!
Then, sew the part where you put the rice in.
TA-DA! You now have your very own hand warmer! Throw it in the microwave for 15-30 seconds and enjoy!
Be sure to comment and to follow my blog! 🙂
Till next time, Toodles!
